Olmsted County's Safeguarding Children Initiative: Truancy Prevention and Educational Achievement Project combine individual, group and family intervention to promote school attendance and performance. The initiative will serve 100 children and their families, focus on increasing access to social and educational opportunities and remove barriers to African-American youth at risk of school failure and/or risk of entry into child protection or the juvenile justice system.
