Alameda County Social Services Agency's Children's Assessment Center is a project that puts into operation current best practices in the treatment of children who are removed from their homes due to allegations of child maltreatment and for children who need an assessment before the out-of-home placement is changed. The Assessment Center provides services to over 1,800 children each year.
