PAL PROMISE

Like many communities, the city of Albany continues to see a marked increase in gang related activities. The PAL PROMISE Project seeks to directly engage youth during the formative school years of 3rd through 8th grades. Preventative interaction during this time period will greatly enhance a child's chances to avoid the entrapment of youth gangs. Providing the skill sets to educate and motivate will be the primary goal of this project. This PAL PROMISE Project will include structured activities centered around the importance of education and the intrinsic value of self. The project anticipates serving 1500 youth. NCA/NCF
