Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2008, $290,663)

De La Salle's After School and Graduate Support Program engages students in the importance of education and in pursuing healthy alternatives to dropping out of school, becoming entrenched in gangs, drugs and crime, and provides essential resources for success in their educational journeys. The project will offer exposure and opportunity through classes four times a week for over 40 weeks and seeks to serve over a hundred students over three years. Our Program's success is measured by the rate of graduation, high school placement, and in high school graduation rates. NCA/NCF
