Staff Development and Retention in Residential Programs for Youth in Care.

The Residential Care Consortium (RCC) is proposing to further develop and deliver multiple competency based and evidence based training interventions to meet the needs of over 1100 employees working at various levels within our member agencies in six states (ME, MN, IA, NE, PA, and KY) in order to reduce employee turnover, increase employee satisfaction and improve outcomes for youth in our member agencies. These 1100+ employees provided services to 3500 youth in 2006 adding up to over 268,549 treatment days. NCA/NCF
