Associacion Tepeyac de New York aims to provide positive enhancement of critical skills for students of four Junior High Schools in grades 6 through 12 by promoting reading and mathematics tutoring; providing engaging activities to prepare students for college early, drop-out prevention , access to technology and telecommunications; offering health care prevention by enjoying physical education and soccer; keeping children safe and out of the streets, encouraging involvement in the arts and music and cultural activities to empower their multicultural identity; offering hands-on opportunities for young people to become invested in the teaching profession as a career, and creating activities to promote parent involvement and lifelong learning that can directly and indirectly benefit their children.
