Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. (YAP) provides a wide range of comprehensive services to high-risk juvenile offenders and ensures communities with safe, effective, and economical alternatives to institutional placement. YAP will implement the Duvall County Advocate Program which will provide wraparound/advocacy services to youth in Duvall County, Florida. The design of the program focuses on addressing risk and protective factors, and developing individualized service plans that include mentoring and family strengthening. The program will report performance measures that include improved school attendance, improved academic performance, development of positive peer associations, improved interpersonal skills and change in number of arrests.
