National Fatherhood Initiative's Project to Educate, Train, and Equip Organizations to Reach Fathers Effectively and Promote Father Involvement

The National Fatherhood Initiative (NFI) will try to stop the cycle of father absence by equipping a wide range of social services providers to connect fathers to their children and families, as well as to help prevent more children from being born into fatherless homes. NFI will do this by conducting training institutes and presentations, providing technical assistance, and equipping organizations with Fatherhood Resource Centers. Progress will be measured by the number of training institutes and presentations conducted, individuals trained, hours of technical assistance provided, and organizational sites that have received NFI resources.
