Comprehensive Services to At-Risk Youth

New Song Urban Ministries (NSUM) will provide comprehensive services to at-risk youth to help assure that they can realize their potential and experience a positive future, avoiding the juvenile justice system altogether. New Song After-School Academy will provide out of school time activities including academic/arts enrichment (tracked by percentage of youth enrolled and grades), mentoring activities (tracked by pre/post surveys), and parental partnership activities (tracked by attendance records). EDEN Jobs (EDEN) will assist youth in school to gain summer jobs and assist youth who have dropped out to gain employment, tracking the number of youth who receive/complete job readiness services, number who complete the summer job program and the number of 'at-risk' youth placed in employment.
