Batteries Included Youth Initiative

The "Batteries Included Initiative" created by the City of Las Vegas, Nevada Partners, and the Las Vegas School District will support a community commitment to provide youth and their families the best possible opportunities for success in life under three main components, including 1) health and safety, 2) education, and 3) leadership. Collaboration of community partners will address youth disengagement from society and expand and strengthen partnerships between the City of Las Vegas and those community entities with the resources to develop new learning opportunities for disconnected youth and their families by consolidating current programs and developing new programs. The Initiative seeks to serve at least 11,000 youth over a three-year period in over 300 courses and activities.
