Corporate/Community Facilitated Mentoring Programs For Youth

Youth Mentoring Connection seeks to provide mentors from Warner Bros. and Rhino Entertainment to 'at risk' youth. The project's primary activity will be to provide facilitated mentoring sessions twice a month, either in a corporate setting or in a community setting. The project will match 50 at-risk youth from inner-city schools and youth centers with entertainment industry employees over a one year time period. Additional services provided to program participants include: one-on-one counseling, monthly gender specific groups, surfing and snow boarding activities, academic support, tutoring, and assistance setting goals for secondary education.
