D.A.R.E. America is a non-profit umbrella organization that provides support to all local community-based Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) programs. The NEW D.A.R.E. is a K-12 school-based substance abuse prevention curricula. D.A.R.E America's goal is to train, equip, and support law enforcement officers so they can execute their mission of providing youth the skills and ability needed to make healthy decisions. The problems to be addressed by this project are experimentation and/or use of illicit substances; abuse of prescription and over-the-counter drugs; and the attendant problems associated with substance abuse. This project will further address substance abuse and other high risk behaviors by youth through proactive prevention and education outreach. NEW D.A.R.E. America will collect data and report the effectiveness of the program in accordance with OJJDP established performance measures. NCA/NCF
