Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2006, $200,000)

This award to Web Wise Kids will be used to disseminate and evaluate the "Wired with Wisdom" parent education tool. The evaluation design, which will be finalized in concert with the program office and an evaluation specialist to be hired, will employ a quasi-experimental design to assess changes in parents' knowledge, attitudes, and behavior.


These funds will support the development and dissemination of internet safety materials for parents and youth by Web Wise Kids.
