The City of Long Beach Police Department plans to reduce juvenile delinquency by training the parents of at-risk youth in effective parenting techniques, providing families with counseling services, promoting public safety by encouraging accountability for juvenile delinquent behavior and addressing juvenile crime and victimization through family counseling services. The program will also engage youth in the Police Athletic League Eagle Boys program.
PAL will track the number of service slots created, youth/families served, staff trained and hours received, victimization and re-offend rates, number of participants completing the program, and behavioral changes observed.NCA/NCF
