The goal of the Boys and Girls Home of North Carolina's Preparation Independent Living Program is to reduce the number of youths who would become criminally delinquent after foster care due to their inabilities of becoming self sufficient. Primarily by administering individualized treatment plans, North Carolina's Preparation Independent Living Program will identify youths' strengths and improve youths' areas of deficiency in order to instill self sufficiency.
