The goal of the Fort Wayne Children's Home of the United Church of Christ is to improve treatment outcomes of youth who are transitioning out of the foster care system. Their main purpose is to improve education, employment success, relationships, and life skills in order to decrease delinquency and poverty. Project funds will be used to develop a new model of helping youth transition to "interdependence" as they leave foster care.
