Establish an Early Childhood Policy Center at Erikson Institute.

The objective of this award is to establish the Herr Research Center for Children and Social Policy at the Erikson Institute. The mission of the Policy Center will be to produce and disseminate applied research and analysis to facilitate the development of public policies regarding the healthy development of children age birth to five and their families. The Policy Center will develop a series of three interrelated studies that will inform and support policies to improve mental health services in Illinois, Michigan, and Wisconsin. The Center will focus on resources available to families with children who exhibit behavior disorders in early childhood.
