Connection Training Services (CTS), Inc will market and implement the Comprehensive Training and Employment Program (CTEP) for youth who are court-referred, adjudicated, or in re-entry to introduce them to careers, holistic client assessment, barrier identification and removal, recidivism prevention strategies and the development of individual employment, education and/or vocational training service plans aimed at avoiding deeper involvement in the juvenile justice system. The target population includes males and females between the ages of 10 to 18 years who reside or are returning primarily to North Philadelphia. CTS will recruit 100 participants in groups of 25 for 13-week sessions .

The CTS will develop various instruments to collect data on the performance of youth involved in the program including... the number of participants served, number who successfully complete the program, completed service hours, re-arrest reports, re-victimization reports, improved grades and school attendance, improved family relations reports, decrease in antisocial behavior reports, decrease in substance use reports, decrease in gang-related activities reports, successful job preparation, and successful completion of life skills, critical thinking, math, literacy, and personal finance training.
