KidsPeace Foster Care & Family Services Therapeutic Foster Care

KidsPeace will establish new therapeutic foster care programs in Alabama, Westchester/Rockland New York, Indianapolis, Indiana, and Washington DC. The project goals are 1) to provide safe and therapeutic foster homes for children in the foster care system with mental health problems; and 2) establish alternative out-of-home placement for youth placed in juvenile detention and residential centers. The primary activities will be 1) to recruit, train, and certify foster families in each community; and 2) match children with mental health diagnoses with therapeutic foster families. NCA/NCF
