Expansion of Ifetayo Programming and Organization Development

The Ifetayo Cultural Arts Facility will expand current programming and implement financial education and asset building programming to at-risk youth of African descent in the central Brooklyn, New York community. The programs to be expanded include the Ifetayo Youth ensemble, the Cultural Arts Program; the Arts in Education Program; and the Cultural Heritage program. The new programs include a financial literacy institute and an Individual Development Accounts (IDA) program. The primary goals of these programs are to 1) increase financial knowledge and management skills; and 2) increase financial assets of participating youth through a donor funded matched savings plan.
