The Central Brooklyn Martin Luther King Commission will implement intervention programming targeting at-risk youth in Central Brooklyn schools. The primary goals are to increase pro-social environments within the target schools, increase use of available education resources in and out of school, and to increase support to students at the highest risk. The primary activities include 1) the establishment of a school-based group, to foster a positive peer environment; 2) service referral and available resource education; and 3) individual and family counseling and academic support.NCA/NCF
