Metro Chicago Youth for Christ will implement the Juvenile Justice Ministry Gang Prevention Program with youthful offenders age 17-18 that are or have been incarcerated in the Cook County Sheriff's Boot Camp. The primary goal is to decrease the gang involvement of participating youth through the provision of one-on-one and group sessions that focus on positive social interaction; family and other adult relationships; job skills and employment; pursuit of educational and community involvement; peer pressure and time management; and identifying and resolving behaviors related to gang activity and involvement. Associated goals include improvement of employment status and attainment of a GED.NCA/NCF
