Classroom Connections/Educational Programs

Amigos del Museo del Barrio will implement Classroom Connections, an arts education program, to all students in the South Bronx (Congressional District 16) in New York. The primary goals are 1) increase access to the arts for underserved children; 2) promote arts education; 3) support positive inter-cultural experiences; and 4) increase bilingual programming available to Latino and Caribbean students. The project activities include an artist in residency program, student exhibition, staff-development workshops, visits to El Museo del Barrio, and artist presentations.NCA/NCF
