The Commonwealth of Massachusetts will implement a substance abuse prevention and intervention program for Essex County youth from age 15-18. The primary goal of the project is to increase educational achievement and provide access to treatment for teens with substance abuse issues. The project activities include the provision of a school-based substance abuse curriculum based on 'Project Towards No Drug Abuse' and 'treatment on demand' for youth with substance abuse issues.
