Clay County Improvement Association, Inc. will utilize grant funds to operate a Clay County Resource Day Camp Center. The Center will provide 35 at-risk families and children with a comprehensive array of services such as: life skills training; tutoring; arts and crafts activities; computer skills; substance abuse prevention; violence prevention; conflict resolution skills; sexual abstinence/responsibility; and recreational activities. The Center will educate parents and other adults on how to build developmental assets in youth and how to protect youth from involvement in high-risk behaviors. The grantee will report on performance measures such as reduced ATOD use, reduced juvenile justice involvement and improvement in school performance. NCA/NCF
