The Citizenship Trust at The American Village will implement the Building Good Citizens through Character and Civic Education, a prevention program targeting at-risk students in Alabama and Southeastern states. The primary goal is to increase the knowledge and comprehension of positive character traits; civic roles and skills; and community change techniques. The primary activities will be the provision of 1) a curriculum on character and civic education during school year; 2) character and civic education challenge activity kits; 3) character and civic education summer day camp programs; and 4) resource guides to teachers and youth program leaders.NCA/NCF
