English as a Second Language for Children and Families

The Hispanic Brotherhood will implement the English as a Second Language for Families and Children program to school age children and their families in the Hispanic Community of Nassau County, New York. The primary goals are 1) to improve academic performance of the children participants; and 2) improve the communication between parents and the schools. The primary activities will be twice-weekly ESL classes and the provision of vocational placement opportunities.
