Make a Ballet

The Ballet Theatre Foundation, Inc. will implement an arts education intervention program: Make a Ballet, in inner-city public schools in Costa Mesa, California; Washington DC; New York City; and Newark, New Jersey. The primary goals are to 1) increase academic achievement and school attendance; and 2) increase pro-social activities and social bonds of participants. The primary activities will be the choreographing, designing, administering, and producing dance productions through the provision of dance classes, mentorship, and workshops. NCA/NCF
