The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Mississippi (BGCCM) currently operates six community-based units and one teen center in Hinds and Madison Counties. BGCCM will serve at-risk youth ages 6 to 18 from these counties in an after-school and sports summer program to improve their academic success, reduce crime and drug use, and improve the quality of their lives. BGCCM's primary focus is to provide the youth with a caring mentor and the opportunity to spend time in a safe environment with friends. This project seeks to serve 1,000 members and will use the Vision Software Member Tracking Database that is tailored to Boys & Girls Clubs to track its members. The information will be collected and stored in the database on each member's ethnicity, gender, age, grade, school attendance, test scores and daily program participation at the Club. NCA/NCF
