The Family League of Baltimore City, Inc. will implement the Baltimore Youth Apprenticeship Program to youth ages 14-18 in three high-risk communities (Southern Park Heights, Southwest Baltimore, and Madison/East End/Patterson Park) in Baltimore, Maryland. The primary goals are to increase job skills and employment status of participating youth. The primary activities will be the provision of a 20 week apprenticeship program and job placement program following the Chicago After School Matters model.NCA/NCF
