"Making It Work" - A Course for Career and College Preparation

San Mateo County probation Department will implement 'Making It Work' a gender-responsive Life Skills and College/Career Preparation program for detained girls in a new 30-bed facility. The project goal is to improve the participants; life skills, self-knowledge and self-care, and social interaction for the participants. Project activities include the provision of one-on-one mentoring and cognitive based classes and educational activities on topics such as vocational and career training.NCA/NCF
