Family Support Connection

Culpeper County, VA Human Services will provide a family support manager to address the threat of gangs in the schools and the community. Culpepper will educate, identify and intervene with the target population to provide alternative solutions to gang members or potential gang members. The family support manager will accept referrals from local school administrators, law enforcement and any other community referral source and work collaboratively with community agencies to enhance the protective factors among individual children and families and decrease the many factors that leave children at risk and vulnerable to the influence of gangs. Progress will be measured through community awareness and education enhancements, youth/family assessment participation, and youth/family service plan goal completion. NCA/NCF
