The purpose of this program is to provide at risk youth with viable alternatives to gangs, drugs, and violence by establishing a Literacy Tutoring Center that will offer tutoring, study skills instruction, and homework assistance for two hours every school day to 188 youth who are performing below grade level and are considered at risk of dropping out of school.
