The Justice Research and Statistics Association (JRSA) is proposing a continuation of the Juvenile Justice Evaluation Center (JJEC) project. Since 1999, JRSA has been working on the JJEC project to assist OJJDP in its efforts to build juvenile justice evaluation capacity in the states. Project activities have included training, state-specific technical assistance, conference presentations, the development and maintenance of a web site, practitioner-oriented publications, subawards to states to encourage researcher-practitioner partnerships, and a monthly newsletter. Proposed activities include updating and maintenance of the project web site, responding to requests for information on juvenile justice evaluation, and production of a monthly electronic newsletter.
