Public Awareness and Education on Commercial Sexual Exploitation

Girls Education and Mentoring Service (GEMS) will address the commercial sexual exploitation of children problems through a systematic approach that will first strive to improve its crucial services to victims, capture knowledge effectively and utilize knowledge to train youth-serving professionals in New York. GEMS will strive to advance its present program practices of direct services to CSEC victims and training and support for institutions on CSEC through fostering improvements in service delivery, with an emphasis on documenting and refining successful prevention and intervention strategies with CSEC victims. Through quantifying and detailing the GEMS approach, GEMS will improve its services and help the CSEC victims we serve, by pinpointing the specific strategies that work. CA/NCF
