Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2005, $600,000)
The Native American Alliance Foundation (NAAF) will provide training and technical assistance to the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention's (OJJDP) Tribal Youth Program grantees, Indian Tribes as defined in 25 U.S.C. 450 (b)e, and native communities to develop comprehensive, systemic approaches to reduce juvenile delinquency, violence, and child vicitimization and increase the safety of tribal communities. NAAF will provide services to support the development, planning and implementation of innovative solutions to address juvenile delinquency in Indian County and improve tribal juvenile justice systems.
