Wings for Kids will provide social and emotional learning (SEL) opportunities to strengthen after school programs for low-income students in Charleston, South Carolina. In order to enhance the program, in conjunction with Yale University, Wings for Kids will study and evaluate the program. In addition to improving its own program, Wings for Kids will share the results of its study with interested groups so that they may improve their after-school SEL programs, and will also have a website to share the information. Wings for Kids will report on performance measures including the results of Yale's study, the successful implementation of its recommendations, and the extent to which they are able to share their improvements with others.
