Sentenced to Learn: Citizenship and Justice Academy

The Citizenship and Justice Academy (CJA) is designed for out-of-school youth aged 16 to 21. The program provides academic and needs assessments to all youth, and then develops individualized service plans to address identified needs. Services may include educational programming, vocational training, job placement, character education, and leadership development. CJA proposes to serve 100 youth during the course of this grant. The grantee will report on relevant performance measures, including: the number of youth successfully obtaining their GED; the number of youth enrolled in post-secondary education; and the number of youth employed within 3 months of completing the program.NCA/NCF
