Operational Funding of a Community Assessment Center

The Clackamus County Community Assessment Center will serve as a temporary holding center for youth referred by the police for various offenses, to assess their needs and arrange for their release. The Center will serve up to 600 youths in police custody in Clackamus County ages 10 to 18. The goal of the program is to provide an immediate intervention to at-risk youth, so that the needs of the youth can be assessed and their families can be involved in their treatments. Clackamus County will report on performance measures including the number of youth served, the number of mental health assessments and violence screenings completed, and the success of the Center's interventions.NCA/NCF
