The Clinton County Action Team Against Drugs will offer educational programs about the harms of underage drinking to students in the Keystone Central School District. The goal of the program is to prevent underage drinking by implementing an 'AlcoholEdu' program in grades 9-12, creating an advertising campaign illustrating the harms of drinking directed to children ages 12-19 and their parents, and implementing a 'Class Action' program in the 9th grade classrooms. The Action Team Against Drugs will report on performance measures including a reduction in the rate of juvenile alcohol use, increased student knowledge of the harms of drinking shown by pre and post testing of students in the AlchoholEdu and Class Action programs, and satisfaction surveys regarding the advertising campaign.
