Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2005, $739,982)

The project's objective is to prevent/reduce the detrimental effects of exposure to violence on children and adolescents. Activities will include training of criminal justice personnel, developing protocols for response to domestic violence alerts involving children, and expanding public awareness regarding the damage to children caused by exposure to domestic violence.
