The grantee proposes a program with multiple components designed to intervene with at-risk youth to prevent their later involvement with the juvenile justice system. The approach includes: providing direct clinical and behavioral services to at-risk children ages 4-10 and their families; conducting informational seminars for parents and professionals; and developing and providing parenting skills workshops and support groups. The grantee will report on a variety of performance measures, including the number of outreach clinics conducted, the number of training sessions conducted for parents and professionals in different regions of the state, and the changes in problem behaviors observed in children receiving services through the Marcus Institute.NCA/NCF
