Will County Children's Advocacy Center

Under this grant, the Will County Children's Advocacy Center will implement a comprehensive outreach and education program to combat child sexual and severe physical abuse in a three county (Will, Kendall, Grundy) area in Illinois. Activities will include improving service delivery and access to services for victims, increasing prevention efforts, and widening public awareness of the extent and nature of child abuse problems, and of the availability of victim services. Expansion of outreach and services to victims will include opening a satellite Advocacy Center office, and engaging a bilingual family advocate to cover the Latino population in the service area.
