CHE,the Residential Care Consortium (RCC) will work in five locations to gather data to inform effective modes of helping at-risk young people who are aging out of the juvenile system. RCC will work to address the existing gap in services that young people leaving a residential setting encounter as they move into employment,post-secondary education and independent living.
The goal of this program is to provide delinquency intervention counseling and independent living training to one hundred fifty (150) at-risk young people who are transitioning out of residential care. In addition to providing valuable services to program participants, RCC will secondly track the results of this initiative in order to obtain and distribute data concerning the needs of this special class of individuals.
