Academic Enhancement and Substance Abuse Awareness with Atheltics (Tennis) as a Vehicle

Youth and Tennis Inc. will provide a structured recreational activity (tennis) with informational activities and mentoring activities to over two hundred youth at risk of academic failure, substance abuse and delinquency residing in Southeast Queens, Laurelton, Queens Village and Rosedale NY. The sports program will improve academic motivation, educational learning and promote substance abuse awareness. Youth participating in the structured tennis activities will improve self esteem and through academic mentorship will attain a greater respect for education.NCA/NCF
