The Rutland Area Prevention (RAP) Coalition provides broad-based substance abuse prevention programs to 27 towns in Rutland County, Vermont. RAP seeks to implement the Mentor Connector program in order to help youth ages 8 to 14 develop a supportive, healthy relationship with a caring adult. Activities associated with the Mentor Connector program include the development of a Mentor Network, the expansion of the existing Work It Out Mentoring Program, and the implementation of the Across Ages Mentoring Curriculum.NCA/NCF
