The San Bernardino County Probation Department will form a team with the City of San Bernardino Police Department that targets juveniles on probation and youthful offenders in San Bernardino. The team will conduct school, home and community surveillance to ensure offenders are in compliance with court ordered probation terms, conditions, and sanctions. The expected outcomes of these activities include increasing the number of probationers that comply with court ordered conditions, reduce recidivism for assaults, vandalism and illegal use of firearms, and increase the number of probationers who successfully complete restorative justice programs.NCA/NCF
