Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2004, $197,895)
This project provides earmarked funding to support, in part, construction of a transitional living facility for juveniles and young adults operated by the Covenant House New Jersey, Rights of Passage Program. OJJDP funding will be allocated specifically for architectural design of a new facility (or design for extensive repairs of the existing building). The use of OJJDP funds for the specified purposes will be in compliance with the provisions of 42 U.S.C. 5674 which govern both the funding of construction and of residential programs.
