The Enforcing the Underage Drinking Laws (EUDL)Training and Technical Assistance Program has established the Underage Drinking Enforcement Training Center, a key support component of the EUDL program. EUDL provides resources to States and communities in their efforts to reduce youth access to alcohol, thus reducing the risk of delinquency and other alcohol-related problems. The goal of the Center is to enhance the effectiveness of efforts by providing training and technical assistance to recipients of EUDL funding. The Center is committed to fostering the adoption of effective, science-based strategies to reduce youth access to alcohol. The Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation (PIRE) has housed the Center since it was established in 1999. In the coming year, PIRE plans to refine the services of the Center while improving its efficiency and effectiveness. NCA/NCF
