This grant is for the National Truancy Prevention Training and Technical Assistance Project. The project provides funding to the National Truancy Prevention Association to (1) identify, define and document existing truancy court diversion and dropout prevention program approaches, and develop associated training and technical assistance materials; (2) to provide training and technical assistance to selected truancy court test sites (site selection will be done in conjunction with OJJDP); and (3) to evaluate the effectiveness of truancy court programs in these test sites.
